Understand how the service works and where its limits are. A VPN does not replace secure passwords or up-to-date software.
Access and client
KYRO provides a configuration file and QR code for each device. Set up your connection with the official WireGuard app. KYRO does not offer its own native VPN app and is not an official service of the WireGuard project.
DNS configuration
KYRO’s generated configuration specifies an external DNS resolver. That setting alone does not establish DNS leak protection. Device and application settings can affect how names are resolved.
IPv6 and connection drops
The generated configuration includes IPv4 and IPv6 routes. This is not a promise of working IPv6 connectivity or IPv6 leak protection. KYRO does not provide its own kill switch. Whether internet traffic is blocked when the connection drops depends on the client, operating system and settings. Automatic blocking is not guaranteed.
Activity logs and other data
According to the privacy policy, “no activity logs” refers to websites visited, DNS queries and the contents of VPN traffic. It does not mean “no data processing”. The portal processes account, device, payment and support data, as well as security, rate-limit and error data. The website also records page views and selected click events with the route, time, referrer, browser identifier and an IP hash. This is separate from websites visited through the VPN tunnel. The statement is not a guarantee about the data processing of external DNS or hosting providers.
